PowerApps/Power Platform Consultant

We are seeking an experienced and highly competent PowerApps/Power Platform Consultant to join our team in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing complex business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable applications and workflows that meet our project demands and drive efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy robust business applications and automated workflows using Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate, including integration with Microsoft SharePoint and other relevant systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and other developers to gather requirements, define scope, and deliver solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on Power Platform best practices, architecture, and governance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, and ensure the quality, maintainability, and proper documentation of developed solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest features and capabilities of the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience as a PowerApps/Power Platform Developer or Consultant.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex solutions to project demands independently and as part of a team.

Required Skills & Experience:

Technical Skills:

• Microsoft PowerApps: Proven expertise in building canvas and model-driven apps, custom connectors, and integrating with various data sources.
• Microsoft Power Automate (Flow): Strong experience in creating complex flows, understanding trigger and action types, and managing approvals.
• Microsoft SharePoint: Solid understanding of SharePoint Online, including list and library management, permissions, and integration with Power Platform.
• Technical Coding Skills: Good technical coding skills, demonstrating the ability to write efficient and maintainable code when extending Power Platform capabilities (e.g., JavaScript, JSON, or other relevant scripting).

Soft Skills:

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Possess the right mindset to approach and resolve complex technical and business problems effectively and efficiently.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Local candidates in Houston, TX, are strongly preferred.
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, PL-400).
• Experience with other Microsoft 365 services (e.g., Teams, Azure).
